Hiring skis in Flaine, France 2008

Best bet so far appears to be http://www.snowrental.net/

Premium Skis : : Noir € 78.46
Standard Skis : : Rouge € 69.23
Standard Skis and boots : : Rouge € 92.31

From the Flaine Super Ski Foret shop which appears to be just a few 100m down the road from the Pierre et Vacances Foret appartments.

Price Comparison (for 7 days)

Rossignol Bandit B83
ROSSIGNOL Bandit 83 BMP TPI_ at SkiSet are Platinum skis and are €142.50
ROSSIGNOL Bandit 83 from Snowrental they are Noir (Premium) and are €78.46

(I don't know if the BMP TPI_ bit is significant!

The only downside of booking these, is that the shop is a small branch of a larger shop in the lower area of Flaine. This means that they will sort out the skis you booked and hold them in the shop, but you are probably stuck with these ones, and so if you don't like them you may have to go down to the main shop.
Having said that ours were fine last year.

Have a look at the Erna Low website, they are quoting cheaper prices in Ski Set than on the Ski Set website.
