John is very old

We would like to invite everyone in the ski party to celebrate John’s 50^th birthday with us on Sun 4^th April, so please could you mention it on our behalf tomorrow? Knowing how manic communications can be on the first day of skiing, we thought we’d invite in advance. It will be a gathering in the evening at our apartment for drinks, nibbles, vin chaud and birthday cake. We’ll provide the drinks etc if you can bring your  glasses and plates. It won’t go on late, as we’ll all be half asleep anyway after day 1 of skiing!

Also, would anyone be willing to volunteer their apartment to accommodate the ‘kids’ after we’ve cut the cake?

Hope the ski tea goes well, and we’ll see you in Les Arcs!
